Vineyard Info
The history of the winery is strongly related to the history of a peasant family, the PICHONS and CASTAINGS. They started in 1896 with a very small farm, growing 4 ha of vines that, step by step, they managed to transform into a winery of 90 ha of vineyards. The winery expanded thanks to the passion for vine and with the owners had. Carefully and meticulously, they respected the tradition while following the technology progress. Noawadays, the winery is still a family business and always seeks to produce healthy wines with an excellent quality, with one philosophy, a good value for money.
The terroir is a mixture of clay, silica and limestone soils. The age of the vines is 25 years old.
