Job Purpose

Reporting to Director of Finance. Assist in duties which include ensuring accuracy and efficiency of operations, processing, and monitoring incoming payments, and securing revenue by verifying and posting receipts.

 

Job Responsibilities

  • Process accounts and incoming payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures
  • Perform day to day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, computing, posting, and recording accounts receivables’ data
  • Prepare bills, invoices, and bank deposits
  • Reconcile the accounts receivable ledger to ensure that all payments are accounted for and properly posted.
  • Verify discrepancies by and resolve clients’ billing issues
  • Facilitate payment of invoices due by sending bill reminders and contacting clients
  • Generate financial statements and reports detailing accounts receivable status
  • Generating daily sales check against Stripes / HERO / RPOS / Syspro.
  • Checking settlement slip against closing reports and reconcile and report variance and subsequent

  • If all the charges are accepted, books charges in the system: every amount in the particular account name, make sure not to mix up the charges
  • Prepares bills for customers and groups that left with a balance by visually checking tickets, vouchers, and folios to the invoice and statement daily
  • Balances mail or transmit all credit cards slips to their respective agencies for payment
  • Answers questions and provides requested data for customers including customer credit card refund.
  • Carry out any other finance duties as per reporting manager.
