LA CHABLISIENNE "Fourchaume" 2021 - Chablis Premier Cru - Burgundy, France
Pale golden colour. Limpid and brilliant. The nose reveals a pleasing composition of white orchard fruits with a hint of vanilla. On aeration the bouquet opens further, becoming more intense and complex with a fresh, elegant note. Lots of volume in the mouth with very noticeable, fresh, elegant and dynamic flavours of white fruit accompanied by a pure, fine minerality that is quite dazzling. Very good balance and a fresh finish; qualities that indicate very good potential. A promising wine - though still young - in this great Chablis vintage.

Vineyard Info
Our winery groups nearly 300 winegrowers who produce the great white wines of Chablis. These wines reflect the utmost care our winegrowers devote to the cultivation of their vineyards and the commitment our winemakers bring to revealing the heart and soul of the wines. It is this subtle harmony between the grower in the vineyards, the technical advisor and the winemaker which bestows on our wines their much sought-after distinction. This Premier Cru, a rare wine, feminine and floral, is made with grapes from Chardonnay vines that grow on a clay and limestone soil with fossilised exogyra virgula deriving from Kimmeridgian geological times. The vineyard is located on the right bank of the River Serein to the left of the famed Grands Crus hillside, with a beautiful South East exposure.
