An 1855 Classified Growth in Pauillac, Château d'Armailhac was created by the d'Armailhacq family in the 18th century. Acquired by Baron Philippe de Rothschild in 1933, it now belongs to his descendants. The vineyard, planted with typical Bordeaux varieties, produces a complex, elegant and silky wine which combines all the aspects of a prestigious appellation. The label shows a 17th century Bacchus figure made of spun glass, displayed at the Museum of Wine in Art at Château Mouton Rothschild.
