Vineyard Info
Marlborough is a special place for wine. perhaps it’s our cloudless skies or mild temperatures or well-drained soils. It could be our long growing season or our sustainably-farmed vineyards. Our wines come from 2 mains valleys: The Wairau: the larger of the two valleys, and features gravelly river stone soil beds. Fruit sourced from our vineyard in the wairau provides our wines with bright and vibrant tropical fruit characteristics. The Awatere: a smaller valley, with vines planted on river terraces along gentle rolling foothills. The climate here is distinct, with a cooler and drier growing season that contributes to a much longer ripening period. Our awatere vineyards provide great minerality and acidity to our wines.
