It is further distinguished by its opulence. Generous right from its youth, it develops more flavours and greater complexity as it matures.

The vineyard is spread across the gravelly plateau of the hamlet of Bages, to the South of Pauillac. From 1749 to 1824 it was owned by the Lynch family. In 1933, it became the property of the Cazes family. Jean Michel Cazes implemented and perfected ne production methods while respecting the traditions of appellation.
