Château Troplong Mondot is one of the 18 Premiers Grands Crus Classés among 1,000 Châteaux in the Saint-Émilion region. The Troplong-Mondot Château dates back to 1745 and was part of Château Pavie before separating in 1850. With 43 hectares of vineyards well-sited alongside the hill of Mondot to the north-east of the Saint-Émilion appellation, Troplong Mondot is widely recognised as one of the best terroirs of the region.

Tenuta San Guido is likely the most famous Super Tuscan and located in its own DOC, Bolgheri Sassicaia which was created in 1994 as a subzone of the Bolgheri DOC. Sassicaia is the property's first wine and is made mainly with Cabernet Sauvignon.

As one of the oldest family-owned Champagne houses, Louis Roederer was founded in 1776, in Reims. The property is headed by 7th generation family member, Frédéric Rouzaud. Cristal is an iconic Champagne that was created in 1876 for the Russian Tsar, Alexander II.
