    About the Accolades
Though made entirely the same way as all wines, vegan wines are wines in which during the winemaking step of "fining" that is needed to filter the wine, no animal-based products are used. The most common fining agents used by the wine industry are egg whites and milk protein. Vegan wines instead use alternatives such as clay or plant-based fining agents.

      A lovely Rioja

This is a lovely wine. Quite a classic Rioja but with a wonderful extra oaky depth. I’ve also tried their Grand Reserva, but find this slightly less expensive Reserva to be actually better and more distinctive.

      Good

I wanted to intro my friend to Spanish wines (she usually only drinks Cabernet Sauvignon) and so we popped this wine open with some cheeses and was really good together, especially the hard cheeses. Its fruity, still has some tannin but has a bit of vanilla smell too which she liked.
