Citric and pale colour. Fruity fragrance with smooth marks of tropical fruits. Slightly acidic but fresh on the mouth. The end is smoothly sweet. Ideal on its own or to accompany fish, pasta, salads and seafood dishes. The ideal serving temperature is between 6-7 oC. Vintage in image may vary. Refer to wine facts for current vintage.

Aliança was founded in 1927, over 80 years ago, by 11 associates led by Domingos Silva and Ângelo Neves, in the Bairrada region. Represented in the main wine regions of the country, Aliança's main goal is to achieve the highest quality possible. The company has several estates and around 600ha of land in regions including Alentejo, Douro, Dão, Bairradas and Beiras, exploring around 600 ha of winery. Aliança breathes tradition while incorporating modern techniques. Aliança has grown and has been developing a modern strategy on several levels, from product to distribution, as well as wine tourism. Casal Mendes Vinho Verde production started in Portugal following the success and demand increase of the vinho verde in the on-trade channel. This brand was launched in 80’s using two special Aliança vineyards where we produced grapes for Vinho Verde wines of high quality.
