Deep purple in color, this Cabernet Sauvignon springs from the glass with intense aromas of black cherries, wild red fruit and spices, with notes of cinnamon, tobacco and chocolate. 2019 is a warmer vintage, with more concentrated wines and more power and structure. This year was a warm year in Valdepusa, a cold and dry winter where spring came earlier and was dry, which resulted in the harvest being brought forward a few days. The harvest for the Cabernet started on the 10th of September.

DO Valdepusa: (50) hectares vines, including the original vineyard (14 Ha) of Cabernet Sauvignon (1974). Since 1991, it was progressively enlarged with Syrah (1991); Petit Verdot (1992) –both pioneers in Spain- and Graciano (2000), using Lyre, Smart-Dyson and Guyot “simple”canopies.
