Founded in 1896 by Don Federico Paternina, Paternina is now owned by Marques de la Concordia. We are one of the leading Cava producers, having established winemaking at the property in Sant Sadurni d’Anoia in the 1880s, in the heart of Penedes. Since then quality has been the byword in the production of some of the best sparkling wines from Spain.
Our vineyards have been washed by the warm waters of the Mediterranean and protected by the gigantic Monserrat massif the cold north wind. Calcareous and silicaceous clay soils.
