Product Description
Description
Intense golden colour. Fine string of bubbles. Thanks to a wine with 10 years of age. Elegant and rich bouquet. Complex, ripe fruit nose (figs and apricots) with hints of confectionery aromas (brioche, cocoa beans, vanilla). Structured and still fresh on the palate. Nuts and candied fruit flavours, with a very long and pleasant finish. Once opened for a while, complex tertiary aromas are evolving in the glass. With notes of Tobacco, warm brioche and whipped cream. A surprising and complex Champagne wine for Vintage lover, thanks to chardonnay grapes with slighly lower acidity than usual.
How to pair it
- Meat Chef's suggestion: Foie Gras on toast and jam candied figs
- Seafood Chef's suggestion: Fresh scallops with Balsamic reduction lightly pan-fried.

Vineyard Info
First winemakers of Champagne. Of the 319 villages, or crus, they are present in 52 of them. This is a considerable advantage for both the diversity of soils but also to ensure the authenticity of the house and continuity of style of Ernest Rapeneau. Ernest Rapeneau founded his champagne and wine business in 1901 in the village of Hautvillers, the cradle of champagne. However, it was not until 1927, when the viticultural boundaries of Champagne were fixed, that Ernest began to specialise in the champagne trade. The Rapeneau family philosophy is an uncompromising commitment to honoring and continuing our vineyard and winemaking traditions. Our family's 4th generation's goal is to build on this heritage, serving our reputation as a top champagne family owned estate.
