Château des Annereaux is produced from meticulous selection of the best grapes, and then aged in barrels to create a silky texture and elegant aromas. The Merlot, the major varietal, gives the wine softness, fruity notes and a long silky finish to enjoy it alone or with foods. Over the time, this wine, elaborated in a traditional way and aged in oak barrels, develops a delicious bouquet.

Beautiful ruby red colour with purple reflections. The first impression on the nose brings powerful aromas of black cherries and hints of wood. The mouth has silky, mouth-covering tannins. Vineyard Info
The Annereau family, one of the oldest families in the village and which gave its name to the property has been associated with the region' history since 1450. In this way, for over 5 centuries, the descendants of the same family have run the property. In 2004 Dominique Hessel became the owner of the Château.
From that time, he's got the idea to make a wine respectfull of the nature and decide to make all the efforts to be certified ans an organice wine. The years 2007, 2008 and 2009 are vinified in the organic way and 2010 onwards are officially certified organic. Château des Annereaux's vineyard is located in the village of Lalande-de-Pomerol and cover an area of 22,70 ha. Rich in gravel, the soil heats up easily and is particularly favourable for the cultivation of vines production of good quality grapes.
