Critique Review

An elegant Barolo Riserva that displays just the right balance between ripe berry fruit and soft, chocolatey-oak character. Full to medium bodied with a silky palate that's so well-balanced. The tannins are perfectly melded into the chocolatey flavorful finish. Hint of firmness right at the end of the palate, but it's still delicious to drink now. Will age well too.

Vineyard Info

"The Nebbiolo vineyard called “Bricco” is located on top of the hill behind the farmhouse, in the south-west exposures. Here the vines need to deepen their roots to rich the substances they need from the soil, made up of marl and very rich in carbonates and mineral components, able to give to wine powerful structures, tannins and great ageing potential. That’s why this vineyard is historically dedicated to the production of our Barolo Riserva"
