Gauchezco Oro is a collection of wines from the best terroirs of Mendoza. The complexity of the terroir of Gualtallary in Tupungato, Uco Valley, produces grapes with great color and acidity resulting in wines with good structure, concentration and a unique texture.

The roots of Gauchezco begin in our historic and legendary vineyard, founded in 1881 by the Governor of Mendoza Tiburcio Benegas in Barrancas – Maipú. Gauchezco symbolizes the true essence of the traditional gaucho culture from Argentina. Located in Mendoza, Argentina; in Barrancas – Maipu, the winery is situated in the region is considered part of the "primera zona" or the ""premier/first zone."" Our vineyards root back until the 18th century. Founded in 1881, our average old vine age is 90 years old with some blocks that are 100 years old. In total we are a 130 hectares vineyard and fully modern operating winery.
Gauchezco Oro is a collection of wines from the best terroirs of Mendoza. The complexity of the terroir (sand, lime, rocks) of Gualtallary in Tupungato, Uco Valley, at 1380 meters (4500 ft) a.s.l. produces grapes with great color and acidity, resulting in wines with vibrant structure, concentration and a unique texture.
