Vineyard Info
The nobility of a Baron, the tenderness of a Rose: as its name suggests Baron La Rose may rightfully claim to be a great Bordeaux wine. It is an invitation to enjoy, a journey into the heart of the best of the Bordeaux terroirs, an encounter with skilled winemakers. It is also the result of crucial choices, such as the old vines, as well as making the right technical and human choices, which in turn guarantee quality, complex blends and a unique aromatic finesse.
BARON LA ROSE is made from a selection of plots located in the Entre-deux-Mers area, between Rauzan and La Réole. This location benefits a very sunny climate with scarce rains and rich soils, and allows to have a high variety of soils, offering a more important aromas range. The Baron La Rose vineyards measure 33 hectares, with a mainly chalky-clay soil.
